Ken is one of a select group of advisors who have earned the designation of Chartered Financial Consultant by successfully completing an educational curriculum resulting in one of the most comprehensive financial planning designations available today from The American College. To receive the designation, candidates must subscribe to a Code of Ethics, Professional Pledge, and eight Canons.

The Professional Pledge

"In all my professional relationships, I pledge myself to the following rule of ethical conduct: I shall, in light of all conditions surrounding those I serve, which I shall make every conscientious effort to ascertain and understand, render that service which, in the same circumstances, I would apply to myself."

With 24 years of experience he has been through the down markets of 1984, 1987, 1990, 1994, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2008. "Lessons taught by the accumulation of experience" he said, "are worth far more than the lessons of books and theory.

Ken helps managers in fields such as banking, medical equipment or pharmaceutical sales, and human resources. Also, his clients are skilled workers such as electricians, plumbers, construction supervisors, mechanics, and others. They are conservative investors who are seeking help to avoid making investment mistakes.

He assists clients in developing plans to ease their concerns about having enough money in retirement. In addition, he explores tax implications with his clients along with strategies designed to reduce taxes.

Ken takes an active interest in his clients' families. Their parents may need care. Or they may become an executor of their parents estate and are looking for assistance in handling the details to the best advantage of their family.

Ken has two daughters. For relaxation Ken sails, does woodworking, and cooks, and he enjoys sharing recipes with his clients.
